5 Easy Valentines for Kids to Make

Use construction paper and a stamp set (such as Friendship Stamp Set) for a homemade, heart-felt Valentine. Print out a photo of your child and have child tape it to a piece of construction paper with stickers around the edges for a beautiful "frame." Have child make a hand print heart. Cut out a large heart from construction paper. Then press child's hand into ink from a child's stamp pad or use paint. Press hand in a pattern over the heart. Make a heart photo pendant by printing out a photo of child (or child with loved-one). Cut photo into a heart shape. Paint over the surface with glue that dries clear, then allow to dry. Use a hole puncher to make a hole in the heart and thread a piece of red or pink yarn through the hole. Tie at top to complete the necklace! Video Card: Make a video of your child holding a large heart cutout and saying "I Love You" to someone special who may be far away.
