Red Eyed Tree Frog Craft for Kids: Project #104

Red Eyed Tree Frog Craft for Kids
Crafts for all abilities!   
for Ages 3 Years and Up    
 
Supplies Needed
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Green Poster Paint
  • Green Construction Paper
  • Stick Glue, White Glue, or Double Sided Tape
  • Orange or Red Crayon
  • Scissors
  • 2 Red Googly Eyes
Time Needed
  • 15-30 Minutes plus drying time.
What To Do
  1. Paint one side of the paper plate with green paint.
  2. Draw 2 arms and 2 legs onto the green construction paper.
  3. Color in the hands/feet with red or orange crayon.

  4. Cut out arms and legs.
    HINT: If your child is going to play with this project, I suggest cutting out the toes as one big circle so it doesn't easily tear.
  5. Attach the arms and legs to your frog with glue or tape.
  6. Add red googly eyes to paper plate with glue or tape.

  7. Draw a mouth for your froggie.
  8. ENJOY! You're done! Play!

Po Panda Paper Plate Craft for Kids: Project #103

Po Panda Paper Plate Craft for Kids

for Ages 3 Years and Up    
Perfect for any Kung Fu Panda fans!
 
Supplies Needed
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Black Crayon
  • Black Construction Paper
  • Red Crayon or Red Construction Paper
  • Green Crayon
  • Scissors
  • Double Sided Tape or Stick Glue
Time Needed
  • 15 Minutes
What To Do
  1. Use black crayon to make 2 black circles on the paper plate.
  2. Cut out a modified half moon shape in black paper for the nose and tape it to the paper plate.
     
  3. Cut out 2 small white circles and use green to color in the pupils.
  4. Add a mouth with tongue sticking out.
  5. Add a pair of black ears.

Painted Doily Flowers Kids Craft: Project #102

Painted Doily Flowers Kids Craft
Preschool Crafts For All Abilities!   
for Ages 3 Years and Up  
 

Supplies Needed:
Time Needed:  
  • 15 Minutes Plus Drying Time
What To Do:
  1. Paint a doily with a large paintbrush by dabbing the tip of the brush onto the doily. Use more than one color for some fun! Let dry.
  2. From construction paper cut out 2 leaves and a stem for your flower.
    We used the leaves we had leftover from another paper flowers craft.
  3. When doily is dry use double sided tape or a glue stick to adhere the flower to a piece of construction paper.
  4. Add the stem and leaves using either double sided tape or a glue stick.
  5. ENJOY! You're done!

Confetti Flowers with Bling Craft for Kids: Project #101

Confetti Flowers with Bling Craft for Kids
Preschool Crafts For All Abilities!   
for Ages 3 Years and Up   


Supplies Needed:
Time Needed:  
  • up to 30 Minutes
What To Do:
  1. Make the confetti by using your scrap construction paper. Just cut multiple colors of construction paper into smallish bits of any shape. They do not have to be uniform and a child can help with this using safety scissors.
  2. From a piece of foam paper cut out the shape of a flower.
  3. Peel away the backing to expose the sticky area.
  4. Pour some confetti over the sticky area and press down firmly to make sure it sticks. Lift up flower over a container to save the leftovers.
  5. Cut out a circle and use white glue to put in the middle of your flower.

  6. Put a liberal amount of white glue over that circle and add your craft gems.


     
  7. Let dry completely.

  8. ENJOY! You're done! Make some more and hang them on the wall or frame one and give as a gift!

Beautiful Paper Flowers Craft for Kids

for Ages 3 Years and Up    



Supplies Needed:
Time Needed:  
  • 15-30 Minutes
What To Do:
  1. ADULT: Stack the construction paper and then cut out the following shapes: large circle (about 4" across), small circle (about 2" across), stem, and leaf. Also cut out several petals - you'll want many more of these than the other shapes.
    IMPORTANT: Save your scraps of paper for the next project! We'll be needing some construction paper confetti!
  2. Tape the shapes onto a piece of construction paper to create flowers of varying colors!
    HINT: You can make cards & wall art very simply this way and they look beautiful!

  3. ENJOY! You're done! Make some more flowers!
    HINT: You can do this same project with butterflies!

Q-Tip Peacock Craft for Kids: Project #99

Q-Tip Peacock Craft for Kids
Preschool Crafts for All Abilities!   
for Ages 3 Years and Up    
 

Supplies Needed
Time Needed
  • 20 Minutes to Color Q-Tips, 30 Minutes to Create Peacock, Drying Time
What To Do
  1. Color Your Q-Tips by painting with watercolor paint OR use poster paint OR we used powdered tempera paint and added some water. Use a few different colors. We used purple, blue and green.
     
  2. Dry flat on paper towels or aluminum foil.
    WARNING: Depending on which paint you use, it may stain. Keep this in mind when setting up your drying area.


  3.  Liberally apply white glue to one side of your craft stick.

  4.  Begin putting the colored Q-tips onto the stick as shown below.
  5. Cut an oval from a piece of construction paper. Glue on the googly eyes and draw a beak for the peacock.

  6. Glue onto the bottom of your craft stick.


  7. Let dry completely.

  8. ENJOY! You're done!
