| Decadent Yellow and Milk Chocolate Covered Oreos! |
Supplies Needed
- Yellow, Purple and Light Milk Chocolate Melts

Sample Chocolate Melts - Purple - Chocolate Molds

We used this mold and a heart shaped mold. - Oreos or Other Sandwich Cookie (double stuffed are too big!)
- Basic Kitchen Utensils
- Microwave & Refrigerator
What To Do
- To Make the Decadent Oreo Covered Chocolates
- Heat the yellow chocolate melts according to directions on the package (approx 1.5 minutes in the microwave).
- Stir to make smooth.
- Use a fine pastry brush to "paint" the decoration area of the mold. In my case it was a bunny or tulip. If you're like me and don't even know what a pastry brush is, improvise! I used a tiny baby spoon.
- Put in refrigerator 5 minutes.
- Heat the light milk chocolate melts according to directions on the package (approx 1.5 minutes in the microwave).
- Stir to make smooth.
- Use a teaspoon to scoop the melted chocolate and put into the mold until 2/3 filled.
- Tap mold down lightly on counter to release any air bubbles.
- Place Oreo inside each mold until chocolate fills the sides (and possible part of the Oreo bottom as well)
- Put in refrigerator until completely set (maybe 15 minutes.)
- To unmold just turn upside down and gently press on the back of the mold or slightly twist the mold and they will pop out.
- You're done! Eat one to make sure they're perfect ;) Beautiful and tasty gifts for someone special!
- To Make the 2 Tone Heart Shaped Chocolates
- Heat the yellow chocolate melts according to directions on the package (approx 1.5 minutes in the microwave).
- Stir to make smooth.
- Use a spoon to put some (1/3-1/2) of the yellow chocolate into your heart shaped (or other) mold.
- Tap mold down lightly on counter to release any air bubbles.
- Refrigerate until set (maybe 15 minutes, but I think less).
- Heat the purple milk chocolate melts according to directions on the package (approx 1.5 minutes in the microwave).
- Stir to make smooth.
- Use a spoon to fill the rest of each mold with the purple chocolate.

- Tap mold down lightly on counter to release any air bubbles.
