What To Do
  • To Make the Bunny Rabbit Stick Puppet
  1. Tape the egg closed around the seam with clear tape.
  2. Cut out 2 bunny ear shapes from blue foam paper or construction paper.
  3. Glue 2 small pieces of cotton inside the bunny ears.
  4. Glue (or use double side tape) to attach the the top of the blue egg.
  5. Use a Sharpie or Black Fabric Paint to put bunny eyes, nose, and whiskers on your bunny.
  6. Glue or use double sided tape to attach a cotton ball tail to the back of your bunny.
  7. Set aside to dry both tail and fabric paint/marker.
  8. Cut 2 pieces of blue foam that are about 1/2 inch longer and slightly wider than your popsicle stick.
  9. Enclose the popsicle stick between the 2 foam pieces. If you're using the sticky back foam paper you can press the foam together, with the stick in between, to the point where the stick ends ONLY. You will have a 1/2 inch left of the blue foam.
  10. Spread apart the 1/2 inch of the foam pieces to make a "V" shape.
  11. Attach that to the bottom of the egg as the puppet handle. If it's sticky back it will attach on its own. If not, use white glue or double sided tape.
  12. Cut out a few carrot shapes and attach to the handle to decorate :)

  6. Cut 2 pieces of yellow foam that are about 1/2 inch longer and slightly wider than your popsicle stick.
  7. Enclose the popsicle stick between the 2 foam pieces. If you're using the sticky back foam paper you can press the foam together, with the stick in between, to the point where the stick ends ONLY. You will have a 1/2 inch left of the yellow foam.
  8. Spread apart the 1/2 inch of the foam pieces to make a "V" shape.
