St Patrick's Day Toddler & Preschool Book Recommendations

  • "The Luckiest Leprechaun: A Tail-Wagging Tale of Friendship" By Justine Korman. The story of this unlikely friendship between a lovable dog and a cranky old leprechaun is sure to delight!
  • A fun BOOK to read is "Clever Tom and the Leprechaun" by Linda Shute. Clever Tom captures a leprechaun and then tries to make a fortune by digging up a pot of gold he plans to steal. BUT, the (clever) leprechaun outwits Clever Tom in this cute tale.

  • A fun St Patrick's Day book to read is "Jack and the Leprechaun" By Ivan Robertson. Jack is a mouse who has gone to Ireland to visit his cousin who tells him all about leprechauns! Jack is fascinated and wants to catch one! Will he?

  • A comical BOOK for St Patrick's Day is "That's What Leprechauns Do" by Eve Bunting. A funny tale about how the mischievous leprechauns get the pot of gold to the end of the rainbow.  Part of the Berenstain Bears collection of books!  Fun tongue twisters! So silly that I'm sure your kids will enjoy it :)

  • St Patrick's Day and Rainbows go hand in hand! A preschool BOOK with an important lesson is "The Rainbow Fish" By Marcus Pfister. Although the rainbow fish is the most beautiful fish in the entire ocean, he is not happy. His beauty is so important to him, but he must decide if it's more important than  having friends. A very good lesson about what really makes us happy in life :) Beautiful illustrations and textured pages will please any preschooler!
